1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Desert Pool Patrol LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy governs how we collect and use your personal information when you visit our website or use our residential pool cleaning services. By using our services, you acknowledge that your data is processed in the United States and is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT & CATEGORIES
We collect only the data necessary to provide service, process billing, and ensure compliance.
Identity Data: Name, phone number, email address, service address (property location), and billing address.
Sensitive Security Data (SPI): Gate codes, lockbox combinations, alarm codes, and key location instructions. Note: We treat this as highly sensitive data collected strictly for physical access to the property.
Commercial Information: Records of services purchased, filtration system type (e.g., Cartridge vs. DE for cleaning purposes), cleaning service history, and water chemistry logs (e.g., chlorine, pH, alkalinity readings).
Payment Data: Credit card or banking information. Note: We do not store full credit card numbers on our local servers. Payment data is tokenized and stored securely by our industry-standard third-party payment processors in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
Location & Service Data: To verify service completion ("Proof of Service"), our field technicians collect precise geolocation data (GPS logs) and time-stamped photos of your pool and water clarity via our service software.
Communication Data: Records of text messages (SMS), emails, voicemails, and contact form submissions.
Inferences: Internal notes regarding service preferences (e.g., "Dog in yard," "Prefer AM service") to improve safety and service quality.
3. SOURCES OF INFORMATION
We collect personal information from the following sources:
Directly from You: When you fill out a contact form on our website, request a quote, schedule service, or provide gate codes.
Automated Technologies: Cookies, pixels, and server logs when you visit our website.
Service Software: GPS and photo data generated by our technicians during service visits.
Third Parties: Payment processors (for transaction confirmation) and public property records (County Assessor) to verify ownership.
4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your data for the following specific business purposes:
Service Delivery: To perform pool cleaning, sanitation, and water chemistry management.
Verification: To provide proof of service (via GPS and photos).
Billing: To process payments and send digital invoices.
Communication: To send service schedules, weather alerts, gate access reminders, and administrative service updates (e.g., holiday schedules or price notices).
Legal Compliance: To comply with tax laws, safety regulations, and insurance requirements.
5. TEXT MESSAGING (SMS) & 10DLC COMPLIANCE
We adhere to strict federal carrier standards (10DLC) for text messaging.
Strict No-Selling Policy: We will never sell, rent, lease, or convey your mobile phone number or SMS consent data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Help: For assistance with messaging, reply HELP.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your service schedule (e.g., weekly reminders, storm alerts).
6. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose data only to the following trusted parties necessary to run our local operations:
Service Software (CRM): We share client data with our third-party routing and customer relationship management software to manage technician schedules and history.
Payment Processors: We share payment data with our merchant processor to execute transactions.
Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of our pool route/assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Legal & Safety: We may disclose gate codes or contact info to law enforcement or emergency services if there is an immediate safety threat, or if compelled by a valid court order or subpoena.
7. COOKIES, TRACKING & "DO NOT TRACK"
We may use standard cookies and "pixels" (such as the Meta/Facebook Pixel) to understand local traffic and run advertisements.
"Sharing" Definition: Under California law (CPRA), allowing third-party ad networks to collect data via cookies for "cross-context behavioral advertising" may be defined as "sharing."
"Do Not Track" Signals: Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. Because there is no uniform standard for DNT signals, our website does not currently respond to them.
Your Control: However, you can opt-out of tracking by using a browser that supports the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we recognize and honor, or by adjusting your browser settings to block third-party cookies.
8. DATA SECURITY & STORAGE
Third-Party Storage: Your personal information is primarily stored in our secure, industry-standard third-party CRM, billing systems, and secure business email providers. It is not stored on our public-facing website servers. Our website acts as a secure pass-through for contact inquiries.
Security of Gate Codes: Property access codes are stored in encrypted or password-protected fields within our service software and are accessible only to authorized technicians.
Retention Period: We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary. Note: We are required by the IRS and Nevada Department of Taxation to retain financial and transaction records for a minimum of seven (7) years. We cannot delete these records even upon request until this period expires.
9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Our website or emails may contain links to third-party portals (such as our payment or service history portal). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those specific platforms when you access them.
